An agent that acts, not just answers
Most support bots stop at the answer. This one looks up the order, books the meeting, files the ticket, and hands the conversation to a person when it should. Here is every part that makes that work.

The feature set
10 features, grouped by the part of the job they do. Each one has a page on what it does, how it is set up, and what it costs.
Teach it
Everything the agent knows comes from you. These two decide what it has read, and which model reasons over it.
Train on your data
Feed the agent your files, your site, your policies and your exact answers, so its knowledge is yours rather than generic.
PDF, DOCX and TXT files, up to 42MB each
Learn morePick the right model
Choose which model runs your agent, see the per-message cost up front, and switch whenever the trade-off changes.
Credit cost per message shown before you select a model

Put it on your site
The widget is the only part of this your customers ever see. It should look like it came from you, and it should take minutes to install.
Widget customization
Set the colours, copy, avatar, position and language of the widget, and remove our branding entirely.
Brand colour, avatar, chat icon, light or dark theme
Learn moreOfficial plugins
Official plugins for four platforms, and a single script tag that works on everything else.
Official plugins for WordPress, Framer, Bubble and WHMCS

Connect it to your systems
The difference between an agent that quotes your refund policy and one that looks up the actual order. This is where it stops being a search box.
Agent Actions
Give the agent a real API to call, so it can look things up and change things rather than only describe them.
Any REST endpoint: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE
Learn morePublic API and OAuth
A REST API with granularly scoped keys, plus OAuth so third-party apps can connect to AssistLoop accounts.
API keys scoped per capability, not all-or-nothing
Learn moreIntegrations
Connect the tools you already run, so the agent can act inside them rather than only talk about them.
Calendly and HubSpot connect with OAuth, in a few clicks

Know who it is talking to
Who is on the other end, when to stop and fetch a person, and what you keep once the conversation is over.
Human handoff
Escalate from AI to a real person without the customer repeating themselves, or skip the AI and run it as a human inbox.
A person can take over any conversation, mid-thread
Learn moreLead capture
Collect contact details inside the conversation and export them, with the full chat history attached to every lead.
The agent asks for details inside the chat, not on a separate form
Learn moreVerified user identity
Pass a signed token from your app so the agent knows the visitor is genuinely your logged-in customer.
Your app signs a token with a secret only you and the agent share

Common questions
What the agent can and cannot do, answered straight.
What can an AssistLoop agent actually do?
It answers from what you trained it on, and it can act on that answer: call any REST endpoint you own to look something up or change it, book a Calendly meeting, file a HubSpot ticket, collect a lead, and hand the conversation to a person when it should not be answering alone. See how agent actions work.
Where does the agent get its answers?
From your content, so its knowledge is yours rather than generic. Upload PDF, DOCX or TXT files, crawl your whole site from one root URL, paste in raw text, and pin exact question-and-answer pairs for the answers that have to be word for word. See what you can train it on.
What happens when the AI cannot answer?
Someone on your team takes over the conversation mid-thread, without the customer having to repeat themselves. You can also turn the AI off entirely and run the same widget as a plain live-chat inbox. See how handoff works.
Do I need a developer to set this up?
Not to train the agent, style the widget or install it. There are official plugins for WordPress, Framer, Bubble and WHMCS, and everything else takes a single script tag. You do want someone comfortable with an API to wire up a custom action against your own systems, though that is configuration rather than code. See the install options.
Can I put the agent on WhatsApp or Slack?
Not yet. WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Slack, Discord, email and SMS are on the roadmap and are not live. Today the website widget is the live channel, and we would rather tell you that here than have you find out after signing up. See what connects today.
How much of this is on the free plan?
You can train an agent and put the widget on your site for free. Appearance is where the free plan stops: you can change every setting and watch the preview update, but only the agent name and the interface language are saved. The rest needs a paid plan to persist. See what each plan includes.
Point it at your site and see what it says
Train an agent on your own docs, pages and files, and watch it answer. The free plan needs no credit card.
