1. Overview

AssistLoop respects your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains how to ask us to delete the data we hold about you, including data we receive from Meta platforms (Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp) when a business connects them to AssistLoop.

2. Delete your AssistLoop account

Email hello@assistloop.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Sending it from that address lets us confirm the request is yours. Include:

  • The email address on your account
  • Your workspace name

3. Remove data received from Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp

If you connected a Meta account to AssistLoop:

  1. In the AssistLoop dashboard, open your agent, go to Channels, and click Disconnect on the WhatsApp card. New messages stop arriving, but conversations already received stay in your inbox until we delete them in step 3.
  2. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find AssistLoop, and click Remove.
  3. Email hello@assistloop.ai with the subject “Facebook Data Deletion Request” and the name of the Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp Business number you connected. We will delete the conversation data, access tokens, and profile information we received from Meta.

If you are a customer who messaged a business through AssistLoop on Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp, email hello@assistloop.ai with the business’s Facebook Page or Instagram account name (or, for WhatsApp, the phone number you messaged from) and the approximate date of your conversation.

4. What gets deleted and when

We confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We delete:

  • Your account and profile information
  • Chat conversations and transcripts
  • Training data you uploaded, such as files, website content, text, and Q&A pairs
  • Connected integration tokens
  • Data received from Meta platforms

We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as billing and tax records. Deleted data can remain in backups until those backups are purged on their normal rotation.
